Applications are now open for community members to become part of the City of Mandurah’s Access and Inclusion Advisory Group.
Mandurah is a leader in creating an inclusive and accessible community, working with the community to make big improvements and achievements in creating more accessible spaces, places, events and services.
The City was named WA’s Most Accessible Community in 2021, recognising efforts and leadership in creating an inclusive city for everyone.
Two positions on the Access and Inclusion Advisory Group are available, and those interested in helping to create inclusive and accessible communities are encouraged to apply for a position by Thursday 13 March, 2025.
Members of the Access and Inclusion Advisory Group will play a role in delivering outcomes of the City’s Access and Inclusion Plan (AIP) by providing feedback on City-led access and inclusion initiatives. The AIP identifies barriers to access and inclusion and proposes solutions to ensure that people with disability have the same access to the organisation’s facilities and services as other people. Check out the AIP page for more information.
